It was a sunny day and a young brunette looked out her window. I can't believe we're moving again today. I'll lose all of my friends, my school, I'll lose everything. Oh well . . . I heard Jody lives in Neopia Central . . .

"Maxima! You get your booty down here! MynciBallZ is on!" called her Mynci, Mojojojo5991. MynciBallZ was Moji's favorite show,and she didn't want Maxima to miss it.

You too, Mat! We know you can't sleep without watching!" Those were Mat's pets: Deerdevil238 the Ixi, Myncinacutiepie the Mynci, and Gu_ru637 the Kacheek. They were all of them MynciBallZ fans; Myncina and Moji, twins like their owners, started drooling as Myneta came on. They were both ardent fans of Bad_dude636, the actor who played Myneta.

When MBZ was over, they ate breakfast and suffered through a major catastrophe. Myncina, Moji, Gu_ru, DeerDevil, and Zafarina1237 (a Zafara belonging to Maxima's sister Jenna) were flinging cereal all over the room. Well, at least we're leaving today, thought Jenna as she came upon the disaster in the small kitchen.

Maxima's parents had even more to deal with as they attempted to fit all eleven family members plus their pets in their single minivan. Eventually they ended up having most of the pets transferred in the moving vans. In the minivan were stuffed Lois and Stu, Maxima's parents; the twins Narcissus and Trusta, the twins Mat and Maxima, Fredrik, Dino, Jenna, Haruka, and Nikolas. Arguments over whose space was whose abounded.

"Well, here we are, our new house!" yelled Mr. Mono.

The kids all scrambled to get their stuff into the relatively large house, and the movers unloaded the furniture and pets. As they unloaded things, Mr. Mono decided that they ought to meet their neighbors. He led the huge family over to the next house down, that of the Matthews family.

At the door they were greeted by a tall woman with purple hair. "We're the Monos, your new neighbors. I'm Stu and this is my wife Lois. These are our children: my two sets of twins, Trista and Narcissus, Matthew ("Dad! Don't call me Matthew!) and Maxima, and also Jenna, Haruka, Fredrik, and Dino."

"Pleased to meet you!" said the woman. "I am Kacey Matthews." She turned to look behind her and called, "Hannah! Starlee!" Two girls with purple hair came to the door. "These are my two children, Starlee and Hannah." Hannah was a teenager; Starlee was Maxima and Mat's age. Mr. Mono introduced the kids all over again.

"Nice to meet all of you!" said an enthusiastic Starlee. Hannah didn't say anything, but she looked the older boys up and down. "Hey, Maxima, wanna come in? You can come up to my room and see pictures of all my other friends so they can be your friends too!"

"Oh, that sounds great! Can Mat come too?"

"Sure!" And the three kids scampered up the stairs, along with Gu_ru, tail wagging all the while.

"And that's Zoe Amaryou, and those are all my friends in junior high," Starlee explained.

"Who are those two?" asked Maxima, pointing to two photos that weren't grouped with either the junior high or high school pictures but were clearly old enough to be.

"Them? Oh, they are friends of all my friends, but they both moved to Mystery Island before either you or me set foot in Neopia Central. That's Ji Kouryunno and Kara Lynn." Starlee turned the page. "A lot of my friends are friends of my Zoe's twin, and they are high schoolers..." She proceeded to rattle off the names of the Sailor Neopets.

"Hang on - Jody? The one who used to live in Faerieland?" asked Maxima.

"Yeah, that is her. Why?" asked Starlee.

"Oh, she was my next-door neighbor." Mat started to add to what Maxima said, but she kicked him and he shut up. "Where does she live?" Starlee told her.

"Starlee!" called Mrs. Matthews from down the stairs. "Would you take Maxima and Mat to Hubert's Hot Dogs? We don't have any food in the house right now."

"I'll pass!" Mat headed down the stairs only to have Mrs. Matthews grab him by the tail.

"Oh no you don't, mister! You're having dinner with us; your parents have it all arranged." She gave Mat a You'd-better-go-or-your-dad-won't-let-you-go-to-the-fruit-machine-for-a-week look.

"Oh, this is wonderful." Dr. Sloth was talking to Sailor Chia over a communicator unit.

"A house full of Neopets," she was explaining. "The owners aren't home and there are TONS of pets, they just moved in."

"Well, don't just stand there," Sloth ordered. "Go get those pets!"

"Yes sir, evil worm dude sir!"

The comm switched off as Sloth crushed it in his fist in frustration.

"Hi Leslie! Hi PallaMouse!" called Starlee. "These are Maxima and Mat, my new neighbors."

"Hey! Nice to meet you, Maxima, Matt!" said PallaMouse cheerfully.

Leslie smiled. "Friends of yours already, Starlee?"

Sailor Chia was not far away, behind the Collectable Card shop. "I feel extremely evil today," she murmured to herself, holding her magic bottomless sack in one hand. All of the Mono's pets were in it. "I think I'll wreak a little havoc...I've never liked cards anyhow..." She aimed at the shop and shouted, "Chia Chaos Ruin!"

Leslie and Starlee's heads whipped around when they heard the crash. The delicate house of cards which formed the Collectable Card shop had collapsed, and a few pets were running out as fast as their legs (or wings tails, and so on) would carry them.

PallaMouse was going to stay and see if the Sailor Neopets would show up, but she realized that Mat and Maxima could get hurt if they stayed, so she turned and ran. So did the twins. Starlee almost ran, but Leslie caught her shoulder. "We're staying, remember?" she whispered.

The two ducked behind the bushes around the Chocolate Factory and transformed.

Meanwhile, Mat and Maxima were running after PallaMouse, but something fell out of the air above Maxima and clunk! hit her in the head. She fell over, dazed. When she got up she saw that it was a strange pen, light green and yellow with a capital N on top.

"Where did this come from?" she wondered, holding it up. If she'd looked up, she would have noticed the ornate golden cup above her. But she didn't; words were coming to her mind: "Mynci Neo Power, Make Up!"

A vine appeared in Maxima's hands, and she grabbed it and began swinging. As she swung, a sailor suit in the same colors as the pen appeared on her in place of her regular clothes. When she landed again, she was a Sailor Neopet!

Sailor Lupe and Sailor Gelert were facing off against Sailor Chia. The evil sailor was using her magic sack full of pets as a shield; a Gelert Crescent Kick or a Lupe Lunge would hurt Maxima's family's pets.

Maxima in sailor form sneaked around behind Sailor Chia and yelled, "Hey banana brain! Yes that's you, stop what you're doing! You've been caught by the #1 justice league, the Sailor Neopets! I'm Sailor Mynci, and in the name of Myncis, Neopets, and Neopians everywhere, I will punish you! Boy do I sound corny! Oh well - Mynci Punch!"

Sailor Chia had turned around during the speech to see the new sailor, and now Sailor Mynci's hand glowed yellow and green. "Hi-yaaah!" she yelled as she punched Sailor Chia hard in the face. Why do you alllways show up and wreak havoc?!"

'Gelert Crescent Kick!"

"Lupe Lunge!"

Sailor Chia screamed and dropped her bag. All the pets ran out and into the shops to hide. "Chia Chaos Ruin!" she yelled, aiming for Sailor Mynci. Sailor Gelert dove into the path of the attack and pushed Sailor Mynci out of the way just in time; the attack barely missed her tail.

"Starlee??" asked Sailor Mynci. "You're a Sailor Neopet?"

"Yep!" exclaimed Sailor Gelert, and the two got up. "Now we have to attack Sailor Chia until she goes away! Gelert Crescent Kick!"

"Mynci Punch!"

Sailor Chia turned and ran, pushing a button on the comm unit. "Evil worm dude, get me out of here!" she yelled. "....Sloth? Are you there?"

"Let's chase her!" cried Sailor Mynci as Sailor Chia went out of sight.

"Let's not," replied Sailor Lupe. "She'll only teleport away." Mynci nodded, and they all detransformed.

It was a Kiko, she soon realized, but not even a Mutant Kiko, just a plain, normal Kiko! How can someone so bishi draw something so ugly?? wondered Maxima.

Kevin meanwhile looked up, and Maxima quickly ducked under the window, but Kevin still must have heard something, because he came over to look. Maxima ducked around the side of the house, but her glasses fell off. She grabbed them and ducked in the closest window of the house, where she bumped into Mat.

"Mat, I think Kevin heard us!" she hissed as she put on her glasses. "Quick, let's go! And remind me to tell you that when you spy, you don't enter the house!"

"Okay, okay," grumbled Mat. "Sheesh." The twins climbed out the window and ran off.

Meanwhile, Kevin had come outside and walked around the house. He suddenly saw two figures running in the distance. One was yelling at the other, who had . . . a tail.

Kevin only knew one person with a tail - Matthew Mono!

"Oh no! The Monos moved again! Grr, I'm gonna get you, Maxima!"
