“I am really tired. Getting up at 8 o’clock in the morning,” muttered a young girl, opening her light green eyes. She was very young and not very tall, with light purple hair that went to her shoulders.

“Starlee! You are going to be late for school! School starts in half of a hour!” a red gelert said.

“I’m up! Starleigh5 please don’t do that to me. I hate school!” Starlee said. 

“Hey, sleepy head! Wake up! I need to get ready and make me more beautiful. I know you really need the bathroom, but I need it more!” a girl called from outside of Starlee's room. She was older than Starlee.

“Hannah! I will hurry as fast as I can!” Starlee got dressed in a flash and was in and out of the bathroom in five minutes. “I’m done! Mom! I’m walking to school! Make sure Starlee gets her grooming today! Also, remember to take her to school!” Starlee yelled. She looked at the clock; it was 8:11. She decided to stop by the food store to get some breakfast.

“Starlee, being eleven isn’t bad. It is pretty cool. You don’t want to become thirteen like me.” Hannah exclaimed.

“Let me guess, Jessica and Brandy are over.” Starlee sighed. 

“Yup!” Hannah went upstairs to her room to talk to her friends. Why is she so nice when Jessica and Brandy are over? wondered an annoyed Starlee.

“I’m hungry! Give me some omelette!” Starleigh5 said, just when her stomach started to growl.  Starlee shrugged and went to get a bacon omelette.

“I know!” agreed the girl with red hair who was walking down the paths of Neopia with her.

“Candy! You always have to agree with me?”

“Yes, I do! But I am glad it is Saturday. Everyone would say it.” 

“Yup! That’s true, so true.” Starlee was so busy talking to Candy that she didn't notice the girl in front of her until she collided with her. Falling backwards, Starlee landed on her butt. “Sorry!”

“It is alright!” the girl said. She was about Hannah's age and had silky blonde hair that went to her knees which rustled as she helped Starlee up. “I’m Venus, and this is my friend Aviva.”

“Hi! I’m Starlee and this is my friend Candy! What happened to your arm?” asked Starlee, pointing at Venus' arm, which hung in a sling.

“Well, it's a long story, but it started with-” began Venus.

“Venus, we need to get to Leslie’s house, now!” whispered Aviva in Venus' ears. Starlee couldn't hear what they were saying; she wondered why they had to whisper.

“Well. I just fell and broke it. We have to go now! Bye!” Venus and Aviva ran off.

“That was weird.” Starlee remarked as she and Candy continued on their way.

“Ok! Aviva, Venus, we were talking about. Dr. Sloth. He hasn't attacked for about a week now; he must be planning something big. We need to be ready for it,” Leslie told them.

“I hope it isn’t another thing with the orb again. I will go crazy,” said Venus, looking down at her arm.

“Ooh, Venus, are you okay?” asked Aikouka.

“That's the other order of business,” said Leslie with a smile. “One of the few Sailor NeoPets injured in the line of duty. What did the doctor say?”

“I was at the hospital for a few days while they made sure my arm would be all right, and now after it's in a sling for a week or two it should be fine,” Venus said with a big grin.

“That’s good! Now, we'll have to be ready for whatever Sloth is planning, and we need to be able to handle it without Venus' help if he attacks soon. Which he should, since her arm is broken and Sloth will have the advantage if he catches her unawares. I wonder what he is planning…” Everyone started pondering what Leslie had said.

“Why can’t I kill them?” Sailor Chia whined. Then she remembered how much trouble she was in with him. “Never mind! I'll do it now!”

“Sure,” Leslie replied with a laugh.

“We have the food, the plates, the cups, the drinks, and the blanket, right?” Kami asked. The other girls who were going were Venus, Leslie, Tammy, Aviva, Aikouka, and Tori.

“Yes!” exclaimed all the girls who were in charge of bringing those things. Everyone walked out of Leslie’s house and headed for the park. When they got there, they found the perfect place to sit down and eat: under a tall tree which created just the right amount of shade. It was a nice warm spring day, perfect for a picnic.

Sailor Chia knew that it was perfect for a picnic, so she headed to the park and started attacking, knowing that it would draw out the Sailor NeoPets.

“Did you hear that?” asked Tammy as the girls were eating watermelon.

“Hear what?” Leslie listened, and when everyone stopped talking they heard it.

“There are screams! Everyone let's investigate.” Brooke said. The girls got up and crossed the park towards the screams. Soon they came to two little girls - the ones Aviva and Venus had bumped into earlier, in fact - being attacked by Sailor Chia.

“Lupe Neo Power-”

“Blumaroo Neo Power-” 

“Acara Neo Power-”

“Korbat Neo Power-”

“Quiggle Neo Power-”

“Bruce Neo Power-" 

“Kau Neo Power-”

“-Make Up!!!” they all yelled in unison. Suddenly the seven girls were Sailor Neopets!

“Stop that Sailor Chia!” Sailor Lupe yelled.

“It worked!” Chia exclaimed happily. “Come and get me, Sailor NeoPets!"

“Lupe Lunge! Acara Tumble! Quiggle Squirt! Bruce Jive!” The sailors sent a pair of lupe paws and a bunch of other attacks towards Sailor Chia, who put up a “Chia Chaos Shield!” and watched them all bounce off.

“You're all pathetic! Especially you, Korbat! Your arm is still hurt from the orb. You are a baby!” Sailor Chia yelled.

“I am not! Korbat Claw!” A claw shot out of the hand on Sailor Korbat's unbroken arm.

The claws, of course, bounced harmlessly off of the shield. “That orb should have killed you! I can kill you now though!” But Dr. Sloth won't let me, Sailor Chia realized. Drat. She snapped her fingers.

“Sailor Neopets! Watch out!” Starlee yelled. But it was too late - a web that had been thrown at the sailors from behind them landed on them. All the sailors were caught in the sticky web. Sailor Chia put down her shield, because she didn't need it - all the senshi were stuck too tightly to attack!

“I'm getting out of here!” shouted Candy, turning and running towards home. Starlee, on the other hand, ran towards the Sailor Neopets and tried to help them, even though it was useless. They were stuck, and the Spider Grundo was advancing on them!

Suddenly a very fancy wine glass appeared, floating in front of Starlee. It was gold and silver and really ornate. The top fell open to reveal a plum and turquoise pen, which Starlee took out, amazed.

“You’re a Sailor Neopet!” Sailor Lupe exclaimed from inside the web.

“I am?! Cool! Hmm… Gelert Neo Power, Make Up!” Starlee yelled. A pack of gelerts ran around her and started sinking into her, forming a sailor suit like all the other Sailor NeoPets but in plum and turquoise. She also had a turquoise gelert tail. “Hmm . . . What is my attack?”

“Just concentrate and hurry!” Sailor Bruce urged her.

“Hmm… Gelert Crescent Kick!” Sailor Gelert ran towards the Spider Grundo and kicked. The symbol of a crescent moon appeared and hit the grundo, which collapsed. “Yes!”

“What?! Sloth made such a big deal out of this thing, I thought it was going to be really powerful!” Sailor Chia yelled in frustration.

“Umm . . . Who did your hair? Or are you just having a bad hair day?” Sailor Gelert asked. She started cracking up. Then she turned to the Sailor NeoPets trapped in the web and used another Gelert Crescent Kick to turn it to ashes and free them.

“Thanks!” exclaimed Sailor Korbat. “We'll tell you all about us once we get Sailor Chia to leave!”

“You haven’t seen the last of me! Sailor Gelert, I will be back for you, I will be back for all of you, once I have my new weapon!” Sailor Chia turned and ran away, while Sailor Korbat introduced all the sailors to Starlee, the newest Sailor NeoPet!
