The Sailor NeoPets RPG
Series One
Episode Twenty-Eight

“I can’t stand it anymore!” yelled Tori, a young Neopian girl who had lightning blue hair with lavender bangs.” If I get one more complaint, I’m going to scream!!”

“Tori, sorry to say, but you’re already screaming,” pointed out her starry kau, Amanogawa.

“Well, I’m sorry, but when someone asks for your help in neopian home designing, you should be happy, not complain all the time when they accept!”

“Oh, well! Let's drop it and go out to get a hotdog, I heard Herbert just came out with some new flavors, like asparagus, and flaming hotdogs!” Amanogawa was practically drooling now.

“You're right, I shouldn’t be so sensitive. Besides, all this talk has made me hungry! We'll bring back some food for the others, lets get going.” And off the two went.

While standing in line at the hotdog stand, Tori saw a girl with long orange hair and a chia at her side. The two were arguing about what to get. The small chia growled, “I don’t want a chilidog, I don’t, I don’t, I DON’T!”

His owner was looking rather ticked off. “Quiet down! You’re so spoiled and rotten! I’m such a good influence. Anyhow, you’re going to eat it and love it! Get me two chilidogs, and hurry! I’m in a rush!”

Tori couldn’t believe what she just heard and saw. How could a person be so crude? “Excuse me,” Tori shouted above the crowd, “do you have an emergency? Poor Hubert has enough to do as it is, and…”

The girl broke Tori off. “No. No, I don’t have an emergency, but if you don’t mind your own business, you’re the one that’s going to have the emergency!” she barked.

At this point some chia police came over to inspect the shouts. ”Ms., if you keep threatening this user, we might have to freeze your account,” one of them chirped. With this the girl gave Tori a nasty look, and walked off with her nose in the air, her chia following.

“Kaen, stop it!” Leslie shouted at the, now angry, earth faerie. “I was joking! I would never sell you! Can’t you take a joke?”

The little faerie gave her a suspicious look, then stopped flying around the room. “Do you know how much trust, we faeries, put in you users? About this much!” Kaen put her index finger above her thumb with a (faerie) fingernail's width in between them..

“I wonder how much longer till we find the other sailors? With our luck, it will take forever!” said Leslie.

Kaen looked at her and said, “Stop being so negative! We’ll find them soon enough. We’re doing very well so far!” She put on a smile that made Leslie a bit enthusiastic, as well as relieved that Kaen had stopped nagging her about the bad joke.

“You’re right! I can’t be negative now! Who knows when Sailor Chia, Sloth, or even the Chaos Faerie, will attack. I’m going to see if I can win anything at Tombola.” Kaen waved good-bye to Leslie as she headed off, toward Mystery Island.

“Abira! How many times must I tell you! You are to stay out of the arsenal! Little kids around big guns may…” Dr. F. Sloth got a mischievous grin on his face. “Never mind my dear, go ahead. Play with all the guns and zap cannons you wish. Here, these guns here are loaded!” Sloth eagerly pointed to a stack of laser guns to the left.

“Wow! Cool! This looks like fu…wait a minute! I get it!” said Abbie, who was finally catching on. “You know, the Chaos Faerie wouldn’t exactly like it if she found me with one eye and twenty bullet holes! She DID pick me to get rid of the other Sailor NeoPets!” Abbie smirked at this remark and waited to see what comeback Sloth might have. The evil doctor made an expression that would make you think he was trying to raise an imaginary eyebrow. “And whom, do you think, was chosen to lead this operation? You, my dear, are dispensable. I have thousands of slaves who would give their eyeteeth to help, just for their freedom of experiments. They have serious consciences that you don’t. So they would always give 100% in completion.”

Abbie looked around the arsenal to see several mutated pets and VirtuPets looking up hopefully as they heard Sloth. They were pathetic; they'd do anything for him. Suddenly Abbie got an idea! “All right then! I’ll be weraking havoc around Neopia if you need me!” Sloth muttered something that sounded like “About Time.” But Abbie was already gone; she had other things to do now.

Tori was walking along the shores of Mystery Island telling Angel that maybe for her pet-day she could have one of the Rock Pool petpets when she tripped over a golden chalice. “Ouch! Oh! What’s that? Wow, it’s real beautiful!” exclaimed Tori as she stared at the chalice. In front of her on the beach a girl stopped and looked back.

“Whoops! I dropped that, sorry,” said the girl. Tori realized she knew her - it was Leslie, from school. Popular kids liked to tease her because of her lupe-like hair. Leslie turned and ran across the sand to pick up the chalice.

“Oh! Is this yours? It's real beautiful,” said Tori, who was still in awe of the golden chalice. She handed the cup back to Leslie. “Yeah, it really is.” Leslie said, apologizing about leaving it to be tripped on.

“Well, I should get going. Got to see if the Snowager is asleep.” Tori proclaimed. Leslie smiled, and then looked down at the smudged chalice, which was open. A maroon and spring green pen wit little wings on the end was hanging out of it.

“Wait, before you go, I’d like you to have this.” Leslie handed Tori the pen, which she took. “Thank you, it's gorgeous! Still not as beautiful as the chalice, but thank you so much.” Tori told Leslie to neo-mail her anytime. Leslie said she would definitely do that, and Tori headed for the ferry.

About twenty minutes later, Tori was walking back through Neopia Central when she heard some people screaming and went to investigate. When Tori got to the scene, there was a girl in a short skirt with long orange hair shooting beams of orange light at people. “Who are you?” yelled Tori.

The girl looked over, and a look of pure hatred appeared in her eyes. “You again! Ms. ‘Do you have an emergency?’” growled the girl. “Do you know who I am? I’m the one and only, the great, and all powerful, Sailor Chia!” she shouted.

“Hold it right there Abira!” shouted a weirdly familiar voice. This time it was a girl, with dark green hair tipped with cream. She and six others behind her were all dressed in miniskirts, like Chia, but all had different colors: dark green and cream, silver and green, red and gold, red-orange and yellow-orange, electric blue and dark teal, blue and orange, blue-grey and ivory.

“If it isn’t Sailor Lupe and her lackeys! I have a surprise for you, I’m not alone this time, and I brought a friend. Say hello to Djani1098, a very mean and BIG mutant grundo. I told him he could have freedom and his true form back if he defeated you bad excuses for sailors. Djani1098, destroy the Sailor NeoPets!” At these words the big white and brown spotted grundo attacked the sailors with a powerful energy blast combined with a huge fist.

“Ok, now to move on to that ‘emergency’!” Sailor Chia smirked at her puns. Chia turned to Tori, who didn’t have a clue what was going on. Chia gave her a “what are you going to do now” look, and raised her hand. “ Chia…” she began as black storm clouds gathered behind her.

“Tori, RUN!” yelled Sailor Lupe. She knows me!? thought an astonished Tori, too startled to run. She looked around for something, or someone, to help her, but everyone (even her Kau) except her and the sailors had run away long ago. She gripped the pen Leslie had given her tightly in her hand...

Suddenly Tori felt a rush of energy. “Kau Neo Power, Make Up!” she yelled. An explosion of dust surrounded her; when it settled, she was dressed in a maroon miniskirt, with a spring green stripe on the bottom. She had long gloves on and a tiara with N-shaped earrings.

“...Chaos Ruin!”

“Zafara Ice!” A wall of ice appeared in front of Tori, protecting her, while the sailor in red and gold with an Usul tail sprinted forward and pushed her out of the way of Sailor Chia's attack.

“Nooooo!! Not another,” Chia choked, “sailor!” She was so angry that she was having trouble getting all her words out. ”Oh! I give up, you take care of them, Djani1098, if you want to ever be a Kau again!” After telling the giant grundo this, she ran off, leaving the Sailor NeoPets to face the rage of Djani1098.

“Wait a second,” said Tori. “That thing used to be a Kau??”

“Yeah,” replied Sailor Usul, “but we can't let that stop us! Usul Bite!” She added her attack to the rest.

“You're Sailor Kau, by the way, right?” asked Sailor Zafara.

“I guess. But can't we do something other than kill it??”

“You have an alternative?”

Meanwhile, the Grundo raised one massive fist and punched Sailor Lupe so hard that she went sailing backwards. Tori, now Sailor Kau, realized that the senshi were having a lot of trouble; many of them were beaten black and blue. Still, she wanted to stop the Grundo without killing it...

Sailor Kau, felt words swell in her mouth, “Kau Milk Spill!” she exclaimed, pointing at the Grundo. A large gun appeared in her hands and from it shot gallons of Kau Kau Farms brand milk, which splattered all over Djani1098 and made him slip and fall to the ground, where he got knocked on the head and was out like a light instantly.

“Good job Sailor Kau!” exclaimed Sailor Zafara.

Grinning, Sailor Kau poured glasses of milk for all the tired senshi before her gun faded away. When they drank it, they were healed almost instantly! They got up and introduced themselves one by one. “So how did you get your transformation pen?” Sailor Bruce asked.

“Leslie gave it to me; do you know her?” Sailor Kau looked back and forth. “Hang on...” she said to Sailor Lupe. “You're Leslie, aren't you?”

Sailor Lupe nodded and detransformed. The other senshi all did the same and returned to where they had been before they were called to the attack, except for Zelda (who had just been Sailor Zafara) and Leslie. “Uh, how do you de-transform?” said a puzzled Kau.

“Um, I don’t know, I just usually de-transform without thinking about it…” and all of a sudden Kau de-transformed into Tori. “Like that, said Leslie helpfully.

“We have meetings now and again, so here, we use these to contact each other,” Zelda said, handing Tori a maroon and spring green communicator.

“Thanks!” said Tori. “Hang on...where'd Angel go?”

“Who's Angel?” Zelda wondered.

“My Kau. Well, I guess I'll be seing you later. Don't leave me out!” And Tori took off to look for her pet.
