The Sailor NeoPets RPG
Series One
Episode Five

It was a breezy spring day, and Zelda Amaryou was walking down the street to her house. The road passed the high school, which had just let out. Zell could see many other neopians rush out of the wretched  building, hoping to get to their neohomes soon. After the main rush  passed, Zellie could see a girl slowly walking out. She looked downcast, and Zelda could tell she had a rough day. Zelda fingered the jade pendant around her neck. As the strange girl walked closer, she could see the girl had green hair that was cream at the end. Zelda thought it was a cool style, kinda like her own green pigtails on top of her brownish-reddish hair that went down past her shoulders. The strange girl's style reminded her of something, something that couldn't come to her mind right then. She decided to approach her.

"Umm, hi. I'm Zelda. What's your name?"

"Leslie. Now I guess you're gonna tease me about this lupe-tail hair."

"Oh, Lupe-tail. I get it. But why would I tease you? I think it looks good!"

"Really? That's a definite first. Thanks. I like yours too."

Zell beamed. She was wearing a black cotton jacket (with hood) and a pair of khakis that tucked into her sneakers. Also, of course, her pendant. Zelda was 12-years-old, and went to 7th grade at Neopian Junior high. Zelda is very smart, and mature for her age. She's excellent with a bow, being weak at hand-to-hand battle. She also loves to draw. Of course, she has a short attention span, and drops things as fast as she picks them up. Zellie also loves to tinker with electronics, and make new inventions. She can make a remote control out of some wire, tinfoil, and plastic. Zellie has two parents and one older sister, who live in a separate neohome. Anywho, enough about my character, now back to the story.

They walked home together, having a lively conversation on the way. Zelda learned that Lez had a Lupe, but also liked zafaras. Zelda was very fond of this statement, loving zafaras and owning one herself. When they were near their neohomes, Zellie spotted a big, fancy chalice sticking out of Leslie's backpack.

"Ooh, what's this?" Zelda said as she picked it up.

"Hey, don't touch that!" As Leslie said those words, the chalice started glowing, revealing a green and silver pen with an N on top.

"Coooooooool." Zellie said as she picked up the pen and examined it in the late sunlight. She felt strong vibes coming from it, almost like it was magic or something. But not for long, as she heard a THUD from the direction of her neohome. She turned around to see a big pink monster closely resembling a grundo, carrying away her silver zafara My_Lil_Zaffie!

"Ooh, I wonder what a mutant zafara will look like, though it will never be as strong as us Grunkas. Master Sloth will be very pleased..." said the, errm, thing.

Meanwhile, Leslie was watching all this with an intese curiosity. Realizing the situation, that this girl had pulled out a magical pen, that a silver zafara was being carried away by Sloth's minions, that the zafara was most likely this girl's, and remebering her discovery that she was a Sailor Neopet, she knew what she had to do.

"Zelda, hold up your pen and say 'Zafara Neo Power, Make up!' Quickly!" shouted Leslie.

"Why? Is there a new Zafara cosmetics line?"

"Just do it!"

"Umm, okay. Zafara neo power, Make Up!" Zelda obeyed. She was surrounded by energy, and some silver and green ribbons swirled around her, forming a green and silver fuku. She held a silver wand with an emerald on top in one hand, and there was a green Zafara tail on the back of her skirt.

"Unhand my pet, you demon from the lowest pits in hell! For I am Sailor Zafara! Umm, you're a Grunka, you said. And you're Dr. Sloth's servant?"

"That I am." said the monster thing, still holding a struggling Zaff.

"Okay, then prepare to feel my wrath, and please do me a favor, and ask your freaky master to pick a better color then PINK for his warriors. Then you might actually strike fear into their hearts."

"Okay, that's the last time anyone says that! Prepare to feel MY wrath," said the Grunka as he slammed a mutant guantlet onto poor Zafara's head. It hit its target with a sickening THUD, followed by a moan from the innocent victim.

"Owww! Umm, a little help here?" said Sailor Zafara to a waiting Lez.

"Oh, yeah, hold on a sec." Leslie did her thing and soon Sailor Lupe was standing beside the newest recruit.

"What are you, Sailor Lupe?"

"Good guess, if I do say so myself. Now attack!"

"How?"

"Well, what's a Zafara battledome attack?"

"Umm, Zafara flame, I guess."

"Okay, try that! Just shout it out loud."

"Okay, I'll try it," said the newbie Sailor. "Zafara Flame!" Instantly she spun around, and put her wand pointed torward the enemy. A stream of fire emerged to shoot the big pink thingie.

"Lupe LUNGE!" By now some of the neighbors were staring at thetwo scantily clad warrioresses, and how their attacks combined to form a set of firey paws that wrapped around the Grunka. In a yell of pain, he dropped My_lil_Zaffie and ran off down the street.

As soon as she was let go, My_lil_Zaffie ran and jumped up on her owner.

"Cool outfit! Oh yeah, thanks for saving me."

"Zaff, I'm so glad you're all right." And she hugged the shaky little bunny/dragon thingie. Then the two de-transformed, and were back to Leslie and Zelda.

"4 down, 31 to go. This is going to be one loooooooong epic," said Leslie. She was heading towards her NeoHome but stopped when she heard Zelda's voice.

"Oh yeah, Leslie, what do I do now?"

"You help us find all the other Sailor NeoPets, which trust me, will take a while. Oh yeah, and train, because not all of the battles will be this easy. And do me a favor, don't turn evil, okay?"

"Okay, I'll try." Zelda smiled.

"Good."Leslie looked at her watch. "Hmm, it's getting late. I'd better go and feed FirePrinse. You know, my lupe. Bye!" said Leslie, and continued down the road.
