Sailor Shoyru

About her (start of series): Ji was fairly popular, and lots of people saw her as a snob. She had lots of friends but didn't think many of them are very deep, seeing them in turn as airheads. However, once you get to know her you'll realize she's not stuck-up: she just has a quick temper and a mastery of sarcasm. Ji's body is a bit *ahem* young-looking, and she hates when people think she's 11. She loves hot dogs and is a frequent visitor of Hubert's Hot Dog Stand.

As the series progresses: Ji's family moves to Mystery Island, where she gets into surfing and acquires a tan (though not a figure).  As her sailor power isn't very effective at offense, the other Sailor Neopets vote to send Kara Lynn (their ally at the time) to the island with her, so she would have help close by if anything happened.  It turned out that not only was Kara Lynn also Sailor Buzz, but Sailor Nimmo (Vicki Pawkeet) also lives on Mystery Island - and she can take out VirtuPets with no extra powers at all.

Nevertheless, Kara Lynn has remained on the island, and become best friends with the fierce and short-tempered Ji.  As their unlikely friendship has progressed, Ji has become aware of her growing attraction to the lanky half-faerie.  When Kara Lynn was kidnapped by her "twin" Diane, under the orders of the Scorchio who created them both, Ji charged impatiently to the rescue of the girl with whom she realized she had fallen in love.  Though she has come to terms with this fact now (which has quieted her internal angst somewhat), she has yet to admit it to anyone else (though her brother Nick sorted it out), and remains a generally touchy person.
 

Ballet: Ji takes ballet classes despite the fact that she thinks it's a waste of time. Her mother has promised that she can quit when she turns 15. The classes take place once a week in Faerieland. They actually do make her very graceful, but she doesn't think so. Ji also has a good sense of balance and enhanced control of her movements thanks to years of ballet practice.
 
Pets: Ji once created an account when she wasn't old enough yet (by her mom's standards), and created a yellow Shoyru named _Shoylana_. _Shoylana_ speaks with an accent reminiscent of Old England, and loves coffee. Ji planned to get _Shoylana_ a pet Clippers, but her mother found out about her account and made her delete it and abandon her Shoyru. For a long time Ji didn't know where _Shoylana_ was, but the demure Shoyru turned up in the army of pets captured from the Neopian Pound and used in the Sakhmetian Battles. An elated Sailor Shoyru decided to create herself an account, _sailor_shoyru_, and adopt her long-lost pet. She also adopted another of the Pound pets used in Sloth's army: Bilbo_23, a green Blumaroo. Bilbo is cheery and likes puzzles and tea.
Family: Ji has two parents and four brothers. Her mother is nice enough and not really important; her father works as a Gadsgadsgame repairman (he used to work with Chute) and his job eventually moved the whole family to Mystery Island; her brothers are a wild bunch, ages 4 (Mike, the cute little one), 14 (James, Ji's favorite childhood playmate), 18 (Marius, a bit of a brat), and 19 (Nick, the studly handsome pervert).

Nick and Marius tend to tease Ji about her appearance, and Marius occasionally tries to borrow money from her; Nick has also started dating Kara Lynn, over Ji's objections.  James is a genius with glasses who takes college courses at the same institute as Zelda, and has recently asked her out.  Mike is little and cute and absolutely adores his big sister, although his role models are his older brothers.

James' pets are Socks25236 the Skunk Lupe and oO_scorch200_Oo the red Scorchio.
 

Henshin: To transform Ji shouts, "Shoyru Neo Power, Make Up!" She grows giant shoyru wings which wrap around her and then melt into her cream (aura) and blue (secondary color) fuku.

Attack: "Shoyru Hover!" grows her a pair of giant cream shoyru wings that remain intact until she detransforms and let her fly with great agility. Sailor Shoyru's wings have almost limitless strength; rather than her carrying other people and using her wings, it would be more accurate to say that her wings carry her and everybody holding on. She is the sailors' preferred method of transportation, much to her chagrin.

Other: Ji's first transformation was when she challenged Sailors Acara and Zafara to prove that they were really Sailor NeoPets, and the Sacred Chalice appeared, giving Ji her transformation pen. (You can't get much better proof than that.) Since her first transformation was in front of a crowd, most Neopians connect Ji's face with Sailor Shoyru, but not her name.
